Thickening agent for
Lithographic inks--Improves the hydrophobic character of water sensitive ink systems.
Greases--Allows for the thickening of oils to produce greases of low thixotropic and high resistance to water and elevated temperatures.
Sealants--Produces high viscosity systems manifesting low thixotropic behavior. Adds water resistance.
Some Other applications Tullanox can be helpful for
Use in specialty insulations--for aerospace and nuclear applications.
Use in specialty oil absorbency systems.
In some plastic systems, Tullanox keeps the powder-form initiator "dry" and "free-flowing" in order that the initiator will work its best when it is blended with a catalytic peroxide, which then cures or hardens the plastic system.
Tullanox has been used as a nucleating agent in plastics application, and in various special mold release recipes.
Pyrotechnics -- used in "slurry" explosives, waterproofs/ separates pyrotechnical particles, (See Allen J Tulis' Technical Paper) Upgrades water resistance of explosive compositions).
Provides viscosity, strength and resistance to humidity for automotive body solder and adhesives."
